Join TSA to begin the hiring process for the Transportation Security Officer (TSO) position.

What to Expect
- Learn about the TSO position and employment with TSA
- Receive guidance on completing the TSO application (it is recommended you do not apply beforehand)
- Take a proctored computer-based test to evaluate image interpretation aptitude
- Soon after the event, dependent on the test results, you will participate in an interview, complete a medical evaluation, federal drug screening, background investigation and fingerprinting
How to Prepare
- Bring two forms of federal or state issued identification
- Bring your mobile phone and passwords to access your email and USAJOBS account
- Resume and previous work experience are not required for your USAJOBS profile or the TSA application
